A clear guide that helps you achieve a near-professional result when cleaning a sofa, carpet, mattress or car interior yourself.
Every machine we rent out comes with a printed guide, but below you'll find the full step-by-step manual, which you can read before booking so you know what to expect.

Thoroughly dry-vacuum the surface with a regular vacuum cleaner to remove surface dust and dirt before wet cleaning.
Test the material in an inconspicuous spot — make sure the fabric doesn't fade or shrink from the cleaning solution.
Dilute the cleaning solution correctly, following the instructions on the machine and the product label.
Spray the solution evenly, without over-wetting the surface — less is better than too much.
Slowly extract the dirty water, moving the nozzle in even, overlapping passes.
Do extra passes with extraction only — no more solution — to pull out as much moisture as possible.
Ensure good air circulation — open windows or use a fan to speed up drying.
Once you're done, rinse the tanks, hose and nozzle — this is a condition for getting your deposit back.
The Kärcher Puzzi 8/1 rental includes 100 g of cleaning solution — usually enough for one to two medium-sized surfaces. An extra 100 g portion can be added in the booking form for €4. Always dose the cleaning solution according to the manufacturer's instructions and the amount of water needed, rather than by eye — exact proportions are marked on the machine and in the enclosed user guide.
If you're using the Kärcher Puzzi 8/1 for the first time, start with a smaller, less visible section of the surface to get a feel for the machine's sensitivity and the right amount of pressure. This helps you avoid over-wetting the larger, more visible part of the surface.
